The Story

GX160/GX200 Billet Connecting Rod with Bearing

  • Mandatory for all HP applications
  • This rod is available in .080 (stock length for UT2) or .100 longer (+.020 Longer for UT2) for use with Honda GX160 UT2 pistons. These pistons have a .080 shorter compression height compared to the standard GX160/200 piston. This will allow the piston to move up .020" in the bore.
  • Use of the .100 rod will move piston up .020", compared to where it is with stock length rod/piston combo.
  • Use of the .080 rod (stock length for UT2 GX160) will leave piston where it is with stock length rod/piston combo.
  • The longer rod will provide additional dwell time, increasing power over the stock rod length, but at less expense and better durability than the Wiseco Long Rod setup.
